Cary is the ASA assigned to it and he needs an ID of the drug dealer (who killed a pharmacist and is a lieutenant of recurring drug kingpin Lamont Bishop) and he'll cut a deal.
But it turns out there's no dealer, it's all a ploy to get Jonathan and Alexis to talk because they're actually the suspects in the pharmacist's murder. That sneaky Cary and the DA's office.

Speaking of sneaky Cary, the couple ID'd one of Lamont's crew ... who is already dead. *headsmack* He offers to Lockhart, Gardner & Bond that whichever kid turns first gets burglary, which is 8 months in jail, probably home in half that. The other one gets murder in the commission of robbery, which is a 25-year crime.
Will's plan is that they represent both kids and keep in touch so that everybody stays calm, nobody gets paranoid and nobody flips. That means Cary has to make an actual case. Will and Alicia take Jonathan, Diane takes Alexis.

A FACTORY worker who died in a blast which left his best friend fighting for life was today named by police.
Michael Whinfrey from Wickersley died in an industrial explosion at the Sterecycle site on Sheffield Road, Rotherham.
The 42-year-old was airlifted to Leeds General Hospital following yesterday's explosion but died at 5.45pm.
Michael leaves a widow and three daughters.

His best friend Peter Lindon Davis was also injured and remains at the Northern General Hospital where his condition is serious but stable.
He is being treated for "potentially life-changing, head and body injuries."

The men are understood to have become trapped when a pressure vessel blew up in the Sterecycle plant on Sheffield Road, between Tinsley and Templeborough.

The deafening blast ripped a large hole in the wall of the building and sent waste and debris spewing onto the road and nearby cars. One witness said he'd "never heard anything like it".

ISLAMABAD — US Vice President Joe Biden arrived in Islamabad Wednesday for counterterrorism talks with Pakistan's top leaders and senior military officials, a US official said.

The United States wants Pakistan to do more to eradicate Al-Qaeda and Taliban who have carved out sanctuaries in its semi-autonomous northwest tribal belt from where they launch offensives into neighbouring Afghanistan.
"While here, he will meet with President (Asif Ali) Zardari and Prime Minister (Yousuf Raza) Gilani to discuss the US-Pakistan bilateral relationship and how our two countries can work together towards peace and stability in the region," the official said.
"Vice President Biden will also meet with members of Pakistan?s military leadership to discuss our shared efforts to fight terrorism and extremism."

Pakistan's state-run news agency APP reported that Biden was likely to present an economic, military and intelligence package for Pakistan, to help it cope with the financial burden of its counterterrorism measures.
